FAQ

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

We work based on an hourly/day rate so pricing will vary depending on your tattoo design and how long it will take and, also, who you are booked in with.
Our studio manager will be best placed to advise on who would be the most suitable artist for the design you are enquiring about and will therefore be able to give you a price for your new tattoo.

CAN I BOOK A DAY RATE AND SHARE IT WITH MY FRIEND/PARTNER?
Unfortunately not.
If you wish to get tattooed with a friend/partner, you will each be quoted for your tattoos individually.
Our artist days rates are not shareable between multiple people.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Short answer, Yes.

Availability will vary so give us a call or message us via WhatsApp or through our socials and we can let you know the next available slot in our diary.
There are rare occasions where we will have
availability for walk in's and these will be advertised on our social pages (primarily our Instagram Stories) so make sure you've liked and followed us on Instagram  TikTok   Facebook

CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE?

Unfortunately not.

All bookings need to be made via our available contact methods (WhatsApp is preferred) or by visiting us in the studio.
Due to the nature of our work, we have to look at, and assess each enquiry individually and work out how long you will need to be booked in for, so we can find you a suitable slot in our diary with the appropriate artist for the correct amount of time in order to complete your tattoo.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSOIT?

All bookings will require a deposit to secure your appointment.

The deposit amount you will be required to leave will be discussed with you during the booking process.

**ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE**
(Please see our deposit policy for full terms)

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE MY APPOINTMENT?

You will loose your deposit if you do not show up, forget or are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment without prior warning.

Deposits can be transferred, once only, to a new booking, providing 5 days* notice is given if you need to reschedule your appointment.

Deposits are not transferable.
*Full details on our deposit policy can be found here.

HOW CAN I PAY?

We accept deposits by cash or card at the shop, or by bank transfer if booking via WhatsApp or Instagram.

The balance of your tattoo is payable on the day of your appointment in cash only.

WHAT INKS DO YOU USE?

All of our inks (and our aftercare for that matter) are Vegan friendly and cruelty free, so if this is a concern of yours, we have you covered.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?
In most cases, unfortunately not.
We are a very busy studio and if we have a full diary, there isn't enough space for artists clients and guests, so if you do wish to bring someone with you, you MUST check with the studio prior to your appointment date/time.

If we have room, you will only be allowed one guest who must be over the age of 18.
Please be aware, if you do bring someone with you, they may not be able to stay in the tattoo room with you for the duration of your tattoo as some of our artists prefer to work with minimal distraction.
Your guest is welcome to pop in and out but they will not be able to sit with you, particularly for whole day sessions
(Please note that we reserve the right to ask your guest to leave at any time if we find they are becoming a disruption or distraction to your artist or other customers and staff).

CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM?

We don't recommend it, as there have been cases where people have reacted to one or all of the ingredients, or have not followed the instructions and have over applied the cream and left it on too long.
There is also the issue of under applying the cream, and it wearing off too soon. This results in hyper sensitive skin and your tattoo will hurt much, much more than if you hadn't used numbing cream at all.
We have also seen a number of fake and unregulated creams out there which can cause some pretty serious issues as well.
So, for these reasons, we prefer to take a more cautious approach and won't recommend any numbing products.
We're not saying you can't use it, but If you do, we are assuming you have fully read and understood the application instructions and carried out your patch test at least 24hrs before your appointment.
If you do
arrive to your tattoo appointment with numbing cream applied; if our artists have concerns or deem your skin unsuitable to tattoo as a result, you will not be tattooed and will have to re-book your appointment with a new deposit as per our deposit policy terms which can be found here

DO YOU SELL GIFT VOUCHERS?

Yes we do. Vouchers are available online and directly from the studio in any amount you require.

*Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
*Vouchers will be dated with purchase date, they cannot be forward dated.
*We cannot refund vouchers or exchange for any cash alternative.
*Vouchers cannot be transferred to another person.
*Vouchers must be presented on the day of your appointment otherwise full cash payment will be required.
*Photos or copies of vouchers will not be accepted.
*If a vouchers full value isn't used, a new voucher will be issued for the remaining value.
*Vouchers cannot be used as a deposit for a tattoo booking.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY TATTOO?

Our tattoo artists pride themselves on the quality of their work, and some simple steps can help to make sure that that quality remains for many years to come.
They will talk through the after care your tattoo needs, but you can also visit our aftercare page
here for full details.

CAN I BE TATTOOED IF I'M UNDER 18 AND MY PARENTS GIVE ME CONSENT?

The 'Tattooing of Minors Act 1969’, makes it illegal to Tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent.

The law states...
“It shall be an offence to tattoo a person under the age of eighteen except when the tattoo is performed for medical reasons by a duly qualified medical practitioner or by a person working under his direction, but it shall be a defence for a person charged to show that at the time the tattoo was performed he had reasonable cause to believe that the person tattooed was of or over the age of eighteen and did in fact so believe.”

As a result, we will ask for a valid form of photo ID before your tattoo appointment if we feel you're lucky enough to look that young.
(Valid ID means a photo card driving license or provisional license or in date Passport - Birth certificates are not accepted neither are student ID's etc).
ID must be in hand, we cannot accept a photo/photocopy/printout of your ID.

If a booking has been made on your behalf; and on the day of your appointment, you are under the age of 18, any deposit paid will become forfeit and will not be refunded.
If you arrive to your appointment and have forgotten your ID, and can't get hold of it within a reasonable time, we will not be able to tattoo you and will have to move your appointment to another date (please note, that this will mean any deposit paid will be forfeit and a new booking will have to be made with a new deposit payable - Please see our deposit policy for full details by clicking here.)
